Our many facilities include: The Garden Center(2), and Plant Centre(3) which stocks among other imported and domestic plants, Peter Beales Classic Roses. We also provide a Garden Design service, with gardens designed by Kay Yamada.
BARAKURA Bakery(4), where you can purchase authentic Apple Strudel, English scones, cakes and biscuits from our own bakery, as well as many brands from the UK. A dazzling array of Kay’s original designed household accessories in many patterns can also be found here.
In our ‘Rosy Life’ fashion boutique(5), you can find Kay Yamada’s originally designed fashion. She has used the garden as inspiration for many of the designs.
Our Orangery Gallery(6) shop hosts various local arts and craft retailers throughout the year, where you can find antiques, rugs, glass ware or felt products to name but a few.
For those who wish to eat a casual lunch or take tea-time slowly.Light refreshment can be taken in the Barakura Café, from sandwiches to our original ‘Barakura Stew’, or enjoy a traditional English Afternoon Tea on our garden terrace, or a rose flavoured soft ice-cream. During the Flower Show event in June, you can even get traditional Fish and Chips fried by British fryers.

*With the exception of special events, the Café (inside) can be used without the purchase of an admission ticket.
*For those wishing to eat on the Garden terrace, please purchase an admission ticket.
The restaurant can be used for groups or private dining. We also offer regular lunch during event periods.If your tastes are for more substantial fair, try our Garden Restaurant Giardino which serves a healthy, vegetable based buffet style menu which includes products from our own fields. Reservations for private events are also accepted.
